I am seeking the opinion of the polished botanists out there. Our unfortunate tomato plant, just days after suffering a major amputation, has come down with some sort of opportunistic infection. This pattern is found over about 25% of the plant's leaves. If anyone has seen this sort of blight before, we would appreciate your differential diagnosis and treatment plan. Thanks!

Freddy, we think your plant has MRSA (that is what Pam thinks)... I on the other hand (Avita) think the panty hose ruined the plant for life.

I believe the amputation and the suspected leaf miner are not connected in any way. There's no cause and effect here, Doctor Lepore.
Yeah, I think Brian and Sheila hit the nail on the head. The invader seems to be a leaf miner. I was in the garden center today where I purchased the plant and noticed that several other of the plants there had the exact same thing. Thanks for the info!
